Garage Door Repair, Langley, Portfolio 41
Sunday, December 04, 2022
The customer called us because their garage door wouldn’t open. They said that the motor is turning, but the chain isn’t moving.
Upon inspection, we determined the main gear and sprocket assembly needed to be replaced as the chain sprocket bearing had worn away. That’s what caused the internal main gear to fail. We also offered the option to replace the operator with a new product as the current unit was 25 yrs old. The cost to replace the gear and sprocket assembly was substantially less than that of a new operator, so customer opted to get it repaired. We also performed our 15 point inspection and did a full lubrication service to the garage door and operator.
At Lions Gate Door we will present you with all the options to fix or replace your existing door and operator and let you choose the one that best fits your budget.
