Garage Door Spring Replacement, Fort Langley, Portfolio 18

1. Customer called to have their garage door spring replaced.

2. When we arrived we saw that the customer had an UNUSUAL torsion system made by Clopay Door Products called EZ -Torsion.

3. We presented our customer with 2 options:

OPTION #1.

• order new EZ-Torsion Spring from Clopay
• wait a week or so
• pay for new spring + labour
• ends up being more costly than option #2.

OPTION #2. Do a standard Torsion Conversion. All the parts where already with us in our service truck 😀👏👍

• 16'10" Torsion Shaft
• 400-96 Drums
• 1/8" Cable for 8' high door
• End Bearing plates
• Center Bearing plate
• New nylon center bearing
• pair of "yellow" springs 2" x .207 x 23"

They picked Option 2.
